Mind-Body Connection

“Hold fast, then, to this sound and wholesome rule of life—that you indulge the body only so far as is needful for good health. The body should be treated more rigorously, that it may not be disobedient to the mind.”

-Seneca

…“the body should be treated more rigorously, that it may not be disobedient to the mind.”

The connection between spirit, mind, and body—in particular mind and body has been discussed for a long time. As Seneca reminds us, the mind and body are separate and work together…not one controlling the other.

It’s important to remember to do as much as you can to take care of your physical body to be able to execute what the mind creates for you.

There are countless ways to take care of your body—I’m not here to say which is best. Just that it needs to be a part of your daily routine and the plan you make for your and your family’s lives.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,
