Nature’s Connection
“There is no Wi-Fi in the forest, but I promise you will find a better connection.”
-Ralph Smart
As my time in Sedona continues, I can confirm you find a different and better connection in nature. Yesterday on a hike I found a nice spot to stop for a quick meditation.
Towards the end of the meditation, a nice breeze broke the heat of the sun beating down on me, which was a nice surprise. What happened next was an even greater surprise.
I continued to sit in meditation with my eyes closed and I could hear the breeze continue on past me through the trees and bushes in front of me. The path the breeze took was not normal though—it moved in a half circle around me; instead of moving in a straight line, it bent to surround me and then continued on to wherever it was going.
Had I been hiking with my phone out, not stopped to sit for a few minutes to connect with nature, or been distracted by music I would have missed the friendly communication from nature.
We all can find more time to get out and connect with nature, which will only help us connect more with our Self.
See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,
JC
