Share Your Work
Over the last few days, I’ve been reminded multiple times of how we often will never know the impact we have on others, especially if we are creating or serving others.
On rare occasions, a stranger will share with you how your story, message, or service has impacted them. You might even have someone you know but never suspected was aware of what you are doing share how your story, message, or service has impacted them as well.
For every one person who shares the impact you’ve had on them, there are multiple more who never get a chance to see you or don’t want to bother you to share–you have a greater impact than you could ever know, and that’s ok because it’s all about the impact, not the recognition.
If you have a story or message to share, share it.
As Rick Rubin encourages artists no to withhold their creative works because it’s not up to them to determine if it is “good” or not–it’s up to the listener, viewer, or consumer, I encourage you to share your story, message or service because it’s not your responsibility to determine if your story, message, or service is “good” or not–if you are sharing and creating from your heart, you’re doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing and your efforts will find the people who need it most.
See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,
JC
