Money’s Flow

“Money flows where attention goes."

-Steve Aitchison

If you feel as if you don’t have a handle on your finances, take inventory of where you are directing your money.

Does your money flow align with your values, the things you say are most important to you, and the authentic life you are pursuing?

The more clarity you have around your authentic life, your values, and what is most important to you, the more control you will have over where your money goes. As Steven Aitchison reminds us, where your attention goes, your money will flow–Tony Robbins has a similar saying, which I’m sure influenced Aitchison’s, “energy flows where attention goes.”

Allocating your dollars becomes much easier, and your financial planning becomes clearer when you have clarity over the direction of your life, and that clarity is attached to intense emotions and positive energy–the type of emotions and energy you have for something you want so badly, like your authentic life.

It becomes easier to pass on a new pair of Jordans (or reverse Grinch Kobe’s) when they do not align with your authentic life.

It becomes easier to want fewer things so you can have more experiences with your family.

It becomes easier to save more money so you can have the ability to help more people who need it.

Direct your attention to the authentic life you are pursuing and allow your money to flow to the people, things, and experiences that align with it. Take advantage of the natural flow of money (and energy) by directing your attention to what matters most.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
