I thought I’d share another example of synchronicity from my recent trip out west–I hope these stories make it easier for you to see the synchronicities in your life because they happen for a reason. It may not be obvious why a moment of synchronicity is happening in real-time; the meaning often reveals itself later, but if you never see the synchronicity, you’ll never get the message.

One of the activities we planned for our trip was to do a breathwork session with a woman who has been leading breathwork sessions for over twenty years. Before starting, she asked if we wanted to set any intentions for the session, and we all agreed to put the intention of new beginnings and growth as we all have new things beginning and exciting growth ahead of us.

After the session was over and we debriefed with our instructor, we noticed a small lizard on the curtain in the room we were in. It was not there before we started and we had not seen it earlier in our trip–it was like it revealed itself to us once we were done with our breathwork.

Naturally, I hopped on my phone to figure out what type of lizard it might be, and I discovered that it was a whiptail, which I had never heard of before. Then I hit my favorite website that explains the spiritual meanings of animals and this is what I found:

Some potential messages from a whiptail lizard encounter:

Time for personal growth: You may be called to “shed your skin” and renew yourself in some way.

Ability to adapt: There is change on the horizon – get ready to adjust.

Reclaim your independence: It’s time to break free of limiting beliefs or situations.

New beginnings: Transformation allows a fresh start. What would you like to create?

I couldn’t make this up, even if I wanted to.

Upon finishing an intense and spiritual breathwork session with the intention of new beginnings and growth, we see a whiptail lizard, which happened to stay with us on that curtain for the next day, that represented exactly what our intention was–I view it as a confirmation of our intention from the Universe.

This may have been one of the best moments of synchronicity, not only because of the message but because I experienced it with others–it wasn’t just me receiving the confirmation and being wowed by the experience.

Once you begin noticing the synchronicities and attune your Self to the Universe, the frequency of synchronization increases and acts as a guide as you continue to pursue your authentic life.
