Other People’s Limiting Beliefs
Most people walk around with head trash keeping them from ever trying to pursue their passions, experience different versions of their Self, and keeps themselves in a state of “alright”—
“Hey, how are you doing today?”
“I’m alright.”
Their belief of what is possible is severely limited because they can’t imagine things being any different; they’re playing the hand they’ve been dealt instead of realizing they can fold and walk to another table or an entirely different game.
It’s not totally their fault.
We aren’t taught that we have more control over our lives than what might seem realistic. We aren’t taught that our thoughts, actions, and beliefs influence the world we experience and what we are able to accomplish. We aren’t taught that our limiting beliefs keep us stuck more than any other factor. So it’s natural to believe the narrative that the cards that have been dealt are the cards you have to play.
If you’re reading these Daily Notes, you know about, or at least question, the limiting narratives that most people live under. But, it can be exhausting to keep pursuing your passions, goals, and authentic life when the majority of the people around you are unknowingly, or sometimes knowingly, placing their limiting beliefs on you—don’t stop pursuing—not only do you deserve your authentic life, but your Pursuit can be an example for others of what is possible.
Keep pursuing.
See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,
