Lies From The Past

According to Dr. Joe Dispenza, 70% of our memories are lies.

What we remember from the past is only partially true and is not actually what occurred. Our memories consist of stories we tell ourselves, and many times those stories hold false narratives that constrain our ability to pursue our authentic life.

The lies within your memories tell us we’re not good enough, that you won’t achieve what you want to pursue, or that your authentic life does not exist. Sometimes, these lies are self-inflicted, but most of the time, the lies trace back to what we have been told by others and chose to believe to be true.

We default back to the past because that’s what our brain knows—but that probably is not your truth. What your brain thinks creates your reality, and you’re stuck in a vicious cycle of the past you’re trying to escape becoming your reality because of your thoughts.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the answer on how to shake that cycle beyond connecting to your spirit, mind, and body.

Eventually, I expect to have more guidance and experiences to share, but for now, the best I can do is help bring awareness to you that you might be stuck, unhappy, or struggling to find your authentic life because you are stuck in the loop of your past, which might not even be true—it’s certainly not true for the present moment.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
