Trust Your Vision

As you share your vision for your Pursuit, not everyone will be able to see your vision or believe that it is possible., which makes it imperative that you trust your vision and not rely on others for the confidence behind the vision of your authentic life.

Many of your naysayers will be operating from a place of negativity—“haters,” if you will. They don’t hate YOU, though. They hate that they don’t believe they can pursue their authentic life like you are.

Not everyone will be able to see your vision.

Some won’t be able to see your vision because they see their own vision, but they cannot let their vision become their reality—if they can’t live their authentic life, they don’t want you to pursue yours.

Not all naysayers will come from a place of negativity.

Some won’t be able to see your vision because of their own inability to see their own vision of their authentic life—they don’t understand the feeling of knowing their purpose or what they are supposed to be pursuing.

Some won’t be able to see your vision because they seek comfort and with your Pursuit comes change—they don’t understand why you would want to change things when everything seems to be going well.

Some won’t be able to see your vision because they lack the creativity to think outside of the box—they don’t understand that what the path they’ve been told to follow is not the only path that can be followed in life.

Some won’t be able to see your vision because they suffer from a mindset filled with scarcity—they don’t understand what an abundant mindset can bring to life.

Unfortunately, the naysayers who are not intentionally trying to keep you from pursuing your authentic life and executing your vision are the ones who will have the greatest impact on your Pursuit—they are most likely friends and family.

You might find a few “haters” in your camp, but for the most part, those closest to you will share their concerns about your Pursuit, which may come across as negative because they care about and love you. They challenge your vision not because they want you to fail but because they don’t understand what it is like to have clarity and confidence in their Pursuit—from their perspective, it seems risky.

Trust your vision.

Don’t allow unintentional hurtful comments and remarks to keep you from Pursuing your authentic life—maybe make it a little bulletin board material you keep to your Self for a little added motivation.

A moment of synchronicity: I finished re-reading The Alchemist last evening and highlighted this quote, which seems perfect for this morning’s note:

“When you possess great treasure within you, and try to tell others of them, seldom are you believed.”

- The alchemist

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,
