Change Your Thoughts

You can journal, recite affirmations, visualize, and talk about the authentic life you are pursuing to show the outside world that you are “doing the work” to bring your authentic life to your reality.

But if your internal thoughts do not align with the future version of your Self, then you will find your Self stuck in the past—the past you are trying to leave behind. Your thoughts are what power the change you are seeking to make. The journaling, affirmations, visualizations, and talk can help you change your thoughts, but they cannot do the work alone.

I’m not sure if there is a “right” order to when you change your thoughts—is it before the actions or after? I don’t think it matters as long as your thoughts eventually match your authentic life, but I imagine your Pursuit will be much easier if you start by changing your thoughts.

Change your thinking, change your life.
