Your Mind Is Your Compass
"I found that when you start thinking and saying what you really want then your mind automatically shifts and pulls you in that direction. And sometimes it can be that simple, just a little twist in vocabulary that illustrates your attitude and philosophy."
- Jim Rohn
While working on next Wednesday’s talk for the Keep Pursuing Series, “regaining control of your mind”, I came across this quote from Jim Rohn, which reminds us that the actual Pursuit of your authentic life starts with your mind.
If your mind does not believe, your authentic life cannot be.
I’ll have plenty to share about the impact your mind has on your Pursuit and how you can regain control of it so your authentic life can become a reality, but for now I want to encourage you to think about your own experiences, positive and negative, with your mind’s influence on your life. It becomes easier to believe in the impact your mind can have if you can connect to your own experiences, not just the stories or quotes I might share with you.
Personal experience is the greatest teacher–quotes and stories help you recognize the occurrences in your life for you to connect with and understand.
So, how has your mind shaped your life?
See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,
JC
