Looking For Purpose In The Wrong Places

“You keep waiting for the moral of your life to become obvious, but it never does. Work, work, work: No moral. No plot. No eureka! Just production schedules and days. You might as well be living inside a photocopier. Your lives are all they're ever going to be.”

- Douglas Copeland, Player One

The rest of this week’s Daily Notes will be quotes I’ve been sitting on for some time now; I’ll still go through my regular morning routine to determine which is the “right” quote for the day so I can continue with the process of writing each Daily Note the morning I post it.

I’m currently going through the Kinder Institute’s EVOKE training, which is an intense online class to help me further strengthen my skills in championing clients to design plans for their authentic lives, as well as entering the final preparations for the next talk in the Keep Pursuing Series on Wednesday evening–I realized I may have bitten off a little more than I should have this week. Because of that, I will keep the Daily Notes short yet still meaningful through the words of others.

I will keep any commentary around the quotes to a minimum, or none at all, because I want YOU to process the quotes as you receive them, without any influence from me. The quotes I’ve saved in my notebook have been written down with great intention, so they carry heavy thoughts and emotions–I’m not mailing it in the rest of this week 😀.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
