Where Do You Direct Your Attention?

“That which you put your attention on grows greater in your awareness. So put your attention on progress, goodness, and success.”

This was the inspirational quote after my morning meditation; there was no attribution, and after a quick Google Search, I was not able to find the source of the quote. I find this popular quote without a source attributed to it pretty cool–something mystical about such a powerful quote that no one knows who said it.

With so many distractions available for you to direct your attention, set aside some time to take inventory of where you are directing your attention.

Take a look at:

  • the apps you’re scrolling, who you’re following, how much time you’re spending there, and what type of posts you like and read.

  • the shows and stations you’re watching on television.

  • the podcasts you’re listening to you're watching.

  • the people you’re socializing with the most.

Are these sources aligned with the progress, goodness, and success you desire?

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
