riches and fame

“I think everybody should get rich and famous and do everything they ever dreamed of so they can see that it’s not the answer.”

- Jim Carrey

For those of us who are not rich and famous in the traditional sense, reading comments like Carrey’s often leads to a “yeah, right” response.

But Carrey isn’t the first to suggest that the answer to life’s most significant question, “What’s my purpose?” is never found in fame and riches, despite what most people believe.

So, if riches and fame aren’t the answer, what is?

There isn’t a Universal “right” answer.

The answer is different for each of us, and I believe it can be found in living our authentic lives.

Connect with your authentic Self.
Follow your passions and interests.
Discover why you were created—what you uniquely bring to the world.
Begin doing that.
Your answer will have been found.
Rinse and repeat to continue your evolution.

I know it’s not as easy as I’ve just written, but it’s also not as complicated as most of us make it.

Don’t look to the outside world to find your “answer”--it lies within YOU.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
