standing on the shoulders of Giants

“If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants.”

- Isaac Newton

A Daily Note from earlier this week, “qualities of the Greats,” has stayed on my mind as I have continued to think about why the founders, leaders, and CEOs I’ve heard discussed on the Founders Podcast exhibit the same qualities and characteristics.

Is it because they developed those qualities which led to their greatness?

-Or-

Did those qualities naturally arise when they found the “thing” they were meant to do? Did finding their authentic life make those common qualities and characteristics come out in them?

Like most things, it’s probably a little bit of both. But, I have come to believe that it is much easier to exhibit those qualities when you are living your authentic life and doing the things you were created to do best.

I go deeper into this in today’s episode of LifeDesign+.
