No Right Way
Most self-help gurus communicate in absolutes—the only way to achieve the outcome you desire is to do the exact things they say…anything else is wrong. Most of the time they do this because having a single answer or process catches people’s attention—the cheat code, hack, and easy button culture makes it easier to sell books, courses, or grow a community. I do believe some genuinely believe “their way” really is the best and only way to achieve results, BUT the majority are playing the attention game.
Since I’m not a self-help guru and am not trying to be one, I don’t have to play that game.
When it comes to aligning your spirit, mind, body, and money on the Pursuit of your authentic life there is not one “right” way. You can check the Daily Notes, the On Our PRST podcast, or anything else I’ve created—you won’t find any prescription of how you find alignment other than to tap into those areas of your Self.
Well, as I write this I guess I do have an absolute. I do believe everyone should seek alignment of their spirit, mind, and body—and if you’ve been following me long enough you know my belief (and experience with) that money will settle into place.
I don’t think encouraging everyone to find this alignment is making a bold statement. It’s hard to argue against taking care of your body and mind and believing in someone/something bigger than your Self. And since everyone’s Pursuit is unique to them, how they find the alignment within spirit, mind, and body will differ. We all bring different backgrounds, beliefs, cultures, and experiences to our Pursuit, so what works for one person connecting to their Spiritual Self may not work for another. And that is ok. What really matters is finding the connection to the Spiritual Self to begin to find out who you truly are—not who you’ve been told to be.
The world does not operate in absolutes. There are more than one or two ways to achieve any goal you desire—you need to follow the prescription that aligns with your values, feels authentic, and that you will actually stick with.
As you pursue your authentic life, follow the spiritual practice of your choice, observe your mind and maintain control over your thoughts however you like, and find a health and fitness routine that will help you keep your body in good shape.
The practice, habit, and program is not the most important factor in living your authentic life—it’s finding the alignment.
See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,
