Overthinking

At what point do planning and thinking become overthinking?

We strive to have everything perfect, think of every detail, and play out every scenario so we can be prepared.

When does it become too much?

I don’t have the answer. Instead, I wanted to bring awareness that you are probably overthinking too much.

I do have an observation to offer though…

In most scenarios, you overthink because you are afraid of the decision. You already know the answer…your intuition is telling you what you SHOULD do. Your brain, and possibly your ego, is talking you out of it and leading you to continue to analyze and think.

Your intuition…that gut feeling…is usually right.

Learn to trust and read your intuition. Learn to trust your intuition. Learn to follow your gut. And watch the overthinking begin to decline.

Finding alignment of spirit, mind, and body will assist you in being aware of, interpreting, and trusting your intuition.

This alignment allows you to receive those winks and messages from Higher Powers providing divine guidance on the decision. It also allows you to clearly analyze and assess the important details of the decision and finally FEEL what is right.

Trusting that feeling and continuing to follow it is the hardest part—it’s why you continue to think and analyze. You are looking for information that does not exist to allow you to not have to trust an invisible feeling.

Trust your intuition…what do you have to lose, other than more time not making the decision you already know the answer to?

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
