it has to be your vision
As I continue to embrace my evolution from financial advisor to life planner, I have developed a greater understanding of the importance that the vision for your authentic life has to be YOURS. Trying to make someone else’s vision for your life your own will most likely result in you staying exactly where you are–maybe a few minor changes, but nothing like walking in your authentic life.
Using someone else’s vision for you as your own will never lead to you finding your authentic life because you will never have the energy, excitement, and desire for a life that is not 100% your own vision.
This is why financial and life plans fail. They don’t fail because the data entered was inaccurate for the life that was described; they fail because the data entered was inaccurate for your authentic life. If a plan is created with recommendations that do not align with what you want in life, you are less likely to implement or stick with them–you are not emotionally attached to the outcome they lead you to.
But, if a plan is designed with YOUR vision in mind, you are much more likely to implement and stay with the plan because it is guiding you to where you are called to be; the want for your authentic life is so strong, and you are emotionally attached to it that sticking to plan is not even a question.
You can use suggestions from others and even observe what others are doing to help you determine what you want in your life and combine them with the emotions pulling you toward your authentic life to find the vision that is right for you—the “right for you” is so important because that is where the emotional attachment to your authentic life develops.
It is your emotions that will help the plan you design take you from where you are today to where you want to be in your authentic life.
See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,
JC
