arguing with fools

“A wise man told me don't argue with fools. Cause people from a distance can't tell who is who.”

-Jay-Z

Last evening, I found my Self perturbed by some exchanges I saw on social media among peers in my profession, and I almost chimed in on a couple of the them.

But, I caught my Self and reminded my Self there was no positive outcome to sharing my thoughts.

Not only would I not change the advisors' minds in the thread by chiming in, but I would also lower the frequency of my energy to theirs, impacting other areas of my life.

It was a lose-lose situation.

Not everyone will share the same beliefs as you or the path you choose to pursue; that’s ok. When you have conviction in your authentic life, who you are, and why you are doing what you are doing (or believe what you believe) there is no reason to be bothered by what others are saying. There’s a good chance they have been triggered themselves, and their negative talk is a result of their own insecurities and not really an attack on you.

So don’t argue with "fools", not just because of Jay-Z’s quote, but because of what it will do to the frequency of your energy and the impact it will have on the rest of your Pursuit.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
