Do What You Can

As you pursue your authentic life, you have a lot of control over what happens along the way, but you do not have total control. There’s only so much you can do, and then you have to have faith and trust the flow of life to bring the rest to you.

A lot of energy is wasted and anxiety is experienced trying to force more out of your Self than is possible or even needed. Trust that doing what you can, with what you have, where you are is all that is required from you and the rest will fall into place as it is supposed to.

Fun fact: While this quote is often attributed to Theodore Roosevelt, he attributes the wise words to Squire Bill Widener.
