do something kind

Periodically, you might find your alignment of spirit, mind, and body off.

Sometimes, it’ll be easy to identify where the misalignment lies, and you’ll quickly be able to shift your focus there to bring everything back to the center. Other times, you might not know exactly what’s off, just that you’re not in your normal alignment, or your attempts to bring everything back into alignment may fall short.

When you find your Self struggling to find your realignment, do something kind for someone else, preferably a stranger.

You don’t have to do anything crazy; sometimes, the little things make the biggest impact:

  • Smile as you walk past someone else.

  • Open the door for a parent with a stroller or little one in their arms.

  • Pay for a cup of coffee for the person behind you at the coffee shop.

  • Compliment someone’s outfit.

  • Saying good morning/afternoon/evening when you make eye contact/

Notice how you feel after you do something nice for another human being you don’t know and may never see again–I recommend brightening a stranger’s day because there’s no reciprocation in the act; of course, if you can do something kind for someone you care about or love, you should also do that as well.

The more kind acts you commit, the more your energy will rise, and the misalignment you are feeling will begin to fade. Sometimes, misalignment is just a result of your vibrational energy being a little low, and random acts of kindness are one of the best ways to not only lift your energy but also the energy of the recipient of your kindness–and that may be why it is so impactful.

The real gift is not the act but the increase in energy to another individual.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
