Don’t Forget Your Self

As we head into the end of the year, your ability and commitment to prioritize your Self to maintain (or achieve) the alignment of your spirit, mind, body, and money will be tested.

Holiday parties.
End of the year deadlines.
Colder weather (for some of us).
Gray skies (for some of us).
Travel.
“I’ll restart next year” syndrome.
Etc.

There will be no shortage of excuses for skipping the practices that keep you aligned with your authentic self.

I’m already falling victim to this–thankfully, I still feel aligned.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve traveled to San Diego to speak, completed an intense four-day class (9+ hours on Zoom), given two Keep Pursuing Series talks, picked up fall reviews with RLS Wealth clients, watched tons of basketball games, and am getting ready to go to Milwaukee for the weekend for an AAU tournament–and I have not hit the yoga studio with my normal regularity, have done more workouts at home, sporadically meditated (although still regularly practicing mindfulness throughout the day).

I’ve done enough to maintain my alignment, but I’m noticing that my body does not feel the way it does when I’m in peak alignment.

Hence, this Daily Note reminding us all to prioritize our Selves, especially in the upcoming hustle and bustle of the end of the year.

You can only be the best version of your Self if you are taking care of your Self.

Prioritize and protect your alignment.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
