aligned money

They say more money can’t buy happiness, but I’m not sure that’s true.

I won’t argue that oftentimes more money doesn’t bring more happiness because I don’t believe it’s the money itself that increases happiness. If the additional money, or how the money is earned, is not aligned with your values, then I think more money will not bring more happiness.

But…

If you’ve aligned your finances with your authentic life, or at least your values, then I do think more money will lead to more happiness.

This idea, while I don’t think is new to me (living in my subconscious), first consciously surfaced yesterday during the recording of a podcast. I’ve been thinking about it ever since and will have more to say about it soon, but for now…

More money can’t buy happiness.
Aligned money just might.
