two important days

I came across this Mark Twain quote last night while watching a Denzel Washington movie,

“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”

I’d add that maybe there is a third important day–the day you realize there is a “why.”

Obviously, there are many other important dates in your life—weddings, births, retirements, etc. But as you think about the Pursuit of your authentic life, there really are few days as big as the two Twain suggests, and maybe my addition.
