your opinion of your Self

Just a friendly reminder that true happiness begins within your Self.
I’ve found that the best way to love and have a high opinion of your Self, as Marcus Aurelius discusses, is to be the truest, most authentic version of your Self.
When you live as the version of your Self you were created to be and want to be, the opinions of others do not matter because you do not need outside validation to find happiness. And interestingly enough, I’ve noticed that when you share your authentic Self with the world, the opinions of others about you tend to be higher as well–it’s almost as if they appreciate your authenticity and the role your authentic Self plays in the grand scheme of life.
