your intuition is a superpower
Yesterday, I participated in a group session on intuition led by Isik Tlabar. It was an amazing experience, even though it was hosted over Zoom–it shows the power of energy and consciousness that it can be felt and transferred over the internet.
I’m still processing the call and I need to go back an redo the exercise we did as a group–I got almost completed the twenty minutes of writing from my heart about the next four months, but then Kendrick Lamar tickets went on sale and I had to grab them. A few minor hiccups with the Ticketmaster website and my expired CashApp card took my attention away from the group, but thankfully, I scored four tickets for the St. Louis show and still have the ability to rewatch the call and do the exercise with full presence.
I’m sure I’ll have more to share about the call, but I wanted to share a few important concepts I wrote down while Isik led us. I share them for two reasons. The first is to give you something to think about and explore. Second, as a reminder to my Self that I already knew these things about intuition—I’ve written about them before; the reminder is not to flex but to add to my confidence that there is a lot of information in me that somehow I already know that is true…it might go against what we’re taught, but it is true and powerful.

Ego is a survival mechanism. It exists to protect us and keep us safe—it’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it doesn’t support growth. The ego likes safe. It doesn’t like change. It doesn’t like growth. It shows up in our thoughts and feelings, aka our mind. We need to know when we are operating from ego so we can shift away from it.
Soul is our limitless Self. It is our heart. It shows up in our gifts and genius. It loves the unknown. Intuition talks to us through our heart—it “whispers”. Soul is true creation–not creating to prove anything….creating just to create. Most importantly, our soul is pure energy from Source.
Intuition is the most direct path towards what you want.
Intuition is new information from Soul. It may not make sense. It’s not always logical—not from the mind.
*** “I know” is a dangerous phrase. When we say we know, it closes us off from endless possibilities… possibilities that might be greater than anything we think we could even know.
Sit with these.
How do you feel when you read them? I get excited because they give me more permission, permission I didn’t even know I needed, to lean even more into my intuition (this old Note is an example of how I follow my intuition).
Your intuition is a superpower—I’ve always believed that, but I have even more confidence in that belief after yesterday.
