curiosity

Yesterday, I reminded you to allow passion to be one of your guides.

Another guide you should tap into is your curiosity.

And before you bring up how curiosity killed the cat, did you know that phrase is actually incomplete? There are multiple versions that have been shortened and end with a more optimistic outcome for curiosity.

An, older, more complete version is “Curiosity killed that cat, but satisfaction brought it back.”

But for some reason, we don’t hear that version—we get the version that encourages us not to follow our curiosity and miss the opportunity to grow, evolve, and maybe even find new passions.

Don’t listen to the conventional wisdom that suggests you shouldn’t follow your curiosity–your curiosity came to you for a reason and from a higher power.

Your curiosity is meant to be a guide.

See you tomorrow and keep pursuing,

JC
