So far, most of the guests of Talkin' Shop have been experienced financial advisors. In this episode, I'm joined by Simon Tryzna, director of research at ClearPath Capital, who is an advisor in the early stage of his career. This is his first time experiencing a major market disruption and upcoming recession.
Simon shares how he has taken the stance that the current environment is a tremendous learning experience for him and will only make him a better financial advisor in the long run.I'm not sure how many young advisors share his perspective, but I think it's the best way for all of us to view this. We can all learn--whether it is how to communicate better, new strategies, manage client emotions, and so much more. We just have to be willing to see the lessons when they present themselves.
Simon mentioned he started a blog to help him communicate and also remember his thoughts and feelings during this time. You can check out what he has to say here.
Be sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel--I have a bunch of conversations lined up with other advisors in the next few weeks. There will be a ton of great information and best practices shared in these episodes. You won't want to miss out!
